Beats of Beads in Kenya

The African Studies Gallery team, Idit Toledano- curator, and Moshe Esh- designer, visited Kenya in November 2022 to set up the permanent exhibition in what will be the first beads museum in East Africa. The museum is part of the Beats of Beads Heritage and Art Center which is located at the main gate to the Maasai Mara reserve. The exhibition Beats of Beads held at the African Studies Gallery in 2019 served as the leading concept for the permanent installation at the Beats of Beads museum.
